Initials Challenge 2023
Irene, our Challenge Coordinator, set a new challenge: to create a block using your 3 initials.

Size: 12” x 12”. Should be quilted and bound.
Your 1st initial determines the color.
Your 2nd initial determines the block pattern.
Your 3rd initial determines the type of quilting.
Color-meanings.com has a list of 550 colors. Kona Solids could also be a source of color names.
Reveal date: September 2023 meeting

Challenge 2021

This challenge was suggested by Evelyn Barber. She says, "Have fun with it!"

The quilt must have black and white fabric and one other color of your choice.
If the third fabric is a print, it must just be black, white and one other color.
The pattern is your choice and can be pieced or applique.
It can be no smaller than 36" square or 144" around the edge and no larger than 45" square or 180" around the edge.
The reveal will be at the May 2021 meeting.

Challenge 2019

Theme: Birds

Create a quilt or quilted item the has anything at all to do with birds.
The item could be a wall hanging, a table runner, a quilt - anything goes!
"Bird" could mean bird is in the name, like Bird's Nest, Birds in the Air, or Darting Birds.
Bird could mean specific birds, like Dove in the Window, Goose Tracks, or Crow's Foot.
Of course, there's the bazillion and one designs featuring Flying Geese!
The reveal will be at our meeting on Sept. 3, 2019.
